Anna Ryder Richardson to be prosecuted after a toddler and mother crushed by falling tree at her zoo

TV presenter Anna Ryder Richardson will be prosecuted on health and safety charges after a toddler and his mother were crushed by a tree at her zoo.

Mum Emma Davies-Hughes, 28, and her son Gruff, three, were on a family day trip to the former I’m a Celebrity contestant wildlife park when the accident happened.

They were in the wallaby enclosure along with dozens of other visitors when a heavy branch fell on them during strong winds.

Little Gruff was left fighting for his life after the tree hit him on the head and had to spend three days in intensive care.

The toddler’s mother suffered a head injury and fractures to her leg, pelvis, and arm.

Former Changing Rooms star Anna, 48, was at the 52-acre Manor House animal park in Tenby, West Wales, when the accident happened. Read More
