A 31-year-old man who allegedly killed a 15-year-old girl because she refused to have sex with him has been arrested on suspicion of her murder.

Daniel Robert Lehi Ferry was detained yesterday after an investigation sparked by Annie Kasprzak's bloody and bruised body being pulled out of the Jordan River, Utah, last week.

The Riverton teenager was last seen on March 10, when she left home following an argument, and her body was found the following day.

A witness has claimed she saw Ferry physically assault his alleged victim in a home after she refused to have sex with him, Draper police wrote in a report to Salt Lake County jail.

The same witness also said they saw him take her unconscious body out of the home and place her in a vehicle. Read More
