Sierra Lamar's cell phone Found in a field not far from her Home, she has been missing since Friday Morning

The search for a missing California girl who vanished while heading to her bus stop Friday morning has expanded to her high school.

One day after the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Department reported finding 15-year-old Sierra Lamar's cell phone in a field not far from her home, they visited Sobrato High School where she transferred to this year.

Deputies say they have suspended their search of the ground near her home in Morgan Hill due to a lack of evidence, and will focus on her classmates now instead.

'We have exhausted our search efforts in that area. We have investigators talking to kids hoping they can lead us in the right direction as far as where she could be. We are looking for any information period,' Sgt. Jose Cordoza told ABC News.
